The River Walk at Mud Island River Park is an exact scale model of the lower Mississippi River from its confluence with the Ohio River at Cairo, Illinois, 954 miles south to the Gulf of Mexico.

Thirty inches are equal to one mile on the actual river.  The model is about 2,000 feet or about five city blocks long.
